I am the author and final creative authority of this work.

I conceived and developed its original characters, plot, themes, narrative direction, character development, story-specific world-building, and underlying creative vision. These original creative elements originated with me. I personally wrote substantial portions of the narrative and prose, and exercised direct creative and editorial control over the entire completed text.

I used generative AI selectively as an assistive writing and organizational tool. Its functions included organizing and developing my original plot points and notes, tracking continuity, supporting structural organization, testing possible expressions of my ideas, and drafting or expanding certain passages in response to my detailed creative instructions. Its assistance proceeded from concepts, characters, circumstances, intentions, and narrative directions that I supplied.

My use of generative AI was governed by principles of transparency, human oversight, creative responsibility, accountability, and respect for authorship. AI remained subordinate to my judgment throughout the creative process. I treated all AI-generated material as provisional rather than authoritative, and no AI-assisted passage was included merely because a system produced it. Any AI-assisted language appearing in the completed work was incorporated only after my deliberate, word-by-word review, selection, revision, transformation, or approval. I rejected, altered, replaced, or substantially rewrote material whenever it failed to reflect my intentions, characterization, voice, continuity, ethical standards, or creative vision.

I openly disclose the use of generative AI rather than presenting this work as entirely unassisted. I did not delegate authorship, moral judgment, creative authority, or responsibility for the completed work to the technology. I remain fully responsible for the accuracy, language, continuity, characterization, structure, themes, moral perspective, narrative direction, and final form of everything included in the completed text.

The work itself was governed by my human-centered and restorative moral framework. That framework emphasizes the inherent dignity and personhood of every individual; consent and personal agency; compassion joined with accountability; protection of the vulnerable; truth-telling and responsibility; proportionate consequences; restorative justice without compulsory forgiveness; and the rejection of domination, dehumanization, abandonment, and annihilation as solutions to conflict.

I personally determined how these principles shaped the work’s characters, relationships, conflicts, choices, consequences, and resolutions. I evaluated AI-assisted material against this ethical framework and revised, rejected, or replaced anything that failed to reflect it. The work’s moral reasoning and its treatment of justice, mercy, responsibility, identity, consent, love, family, redemption, accountability, and individual worth were neither delegated to nor determined by a generative AI system. They reflect my own conscience, values, judgment, and creative intention.

No generative AI system independently conceived this work, originated its original characters or story, determined its narrative direction, established its moral or ethical meaning, or possessed authority over its final form. I made every final decision concerning the work’s content, language, characterization, structure, themes, moral perspective, narrative direction, and completed expression.

The final text, therefore, represents my authorship, imagination, ethical convictions, creative judgment, and sustained editorial control. Generative AI assisted in the organization, development, drafting, and expression of material derived from my original creative work. It did not replace me as the work’s author, creator, moral voice, or final decision-maker. I accept full creative, ethical, and editorial responsibility for the completed work.

This statement applies to my original creative contributions and does not assert ownership over any preexisting settings, characters, terminology, concepts, or lore belonging to other creators or rights holders. All such preexisting material remains the property of its respective owners.
